The Contemporary Music Centre (CMC) is recruiting a part-time Information and Communications Co-ordinator to provide a range of information and communications services across the work of the Contemporary Music Centre.

The Communications & Projects Manager oversees all developmental work alongside all promotional activity for CMC as well as for composers and for the contemporary music sector at large across the island of Ireland and overseas. The Information and Communications Co-ordinator will work in the Communications & Projects Department, and assist with a range of core communications and information services as well as designated projects.

The Contemporary Music Centre is Ireland’s national archive, resource centre and promotional body for contemporary music, supporting the work of composers throughout the island of Ireland. The Centre is used, nationally and internationally, by performers, composers, promoters and members of the public interested in finding out more about contemporary music from Ireland. CMC presents an innovative programme of events annually across the island.

This is a part-time role, starting at 15 hours per week approximately. Initially offered on a 12 month fixed term contract, beginning from early October 2017 – early October 2018. The candidate will work from the Centre’s premises. Salary is based on experience.
