Bodleian Libraries: Music Faculty Library, University of Oxford Faculty of Music, St Aldate’s, Oxford, OX1 1DB
Grade 6: £28,098 - £33,518 p.a.

The Music Faculty Library is one of the Bodleian Libraries of the University of Oxford, located at the heart of the Faculty of Music building in St Aldate’s. It is primarily a lending library, supporting the day-to-day needs of the students and academic staff of the Faculty of Music and the wider University and complements the more research-oriented music collections of the Bodleian Library, based in the Weston Library.

The Library is looking for a Deputy Music Librarian to take charge of the day-to-day running of the Music Faculty Library. You will work with and line manage a small team delivering friendly, high-quality reader services. You will assist the Music Subject Librarian in their work and also with the development and implementation of library policy and strategic planning. You will play a role in the management of the library in matters of finance, health and safety, and in the development and maintenance of the library’s collections. The role also involves liaising with the Faculty Administrator over matters of building security and maintenance.
