Opera Department Manager
The Guildhall School of Music & Drama is looking for an Opera Department Manager. In this demanding and busy role the main responsibilities include to liaise, coordinate and assume all aspects of the day to day running of the Opera Studies Department providing a high level of management, financial and organisational support to the Head of Opera Studies and to deal, to the highest international level, with all matters relating to students, professors, production teams and external bodies associated with the Opera Studies Department.
To be successful in your application you will have proven experience in a senior administrative role, have experience in production scheduling, course/programme administration and have a wide and varied experience in project management & administration within a classical music, opera or theatre context and knowledge of professional opera, concert and theatre environments. You will also need to be educated to degree level or with relevant experience.
