This role is part time and will commence in September 2018.

The Royal Northern College of Music wishes to recruit an individual who has an established reputation as a composer to join a team of highly experienced and professional tutors in the School of Composition. The person would be required to teach on a 1/1 basis and occasionally take seminars. Some marking/interviewing may be required from time to time.

Previous experience of teaching at Conservatoire or University level is essential, as well as a proven track record as a composer of concert music and other fields which could include theatre, film or new media. A willingness to engage with new music activity in a conservatoire environment is desirable, as well as a strongly developing research profile.
