The Guildhall School of Music & Drama is looking to appoint an experienced and motivated Jazz Ensemble and Equipment Manager. The Music Administration Department is responsible for the provision of the organisational management and administration of the Music Department. It is a busy department that prides itself on its efficiency and service delivery.

You will actively organise and manage the full range of administrative responsibilities in relation to all Guildhall School Jazz ensemble performances ranging from small combo groups to large scale Jazz Orchestra as well as providing complete and comprehensive management (including the arrangement of maintenance) and organisation for the growing inventory of specialist jazz instruments and equipment.

Previous performance management experience in a conservatoire/Performing Arts establishment is essential. We need a highly organised, motivated, articulate individual with an innovative approach to problem solving and substantial experience Jazz concert planning

A comprehensive understanding of jazz education and performance together with excellent organisational, communication skills and ability to meet deadlines are required to deal with the demands of the job.
