Naji Subhy Paul Irénée Hakim
In partnership with Dún Laoghaire Summer Organ Concerts
Naji Subhy Paul Irénée Hakim is renowned as one of the greatest organists of our time. Winner of seven first prizes at the Paris Conservatoire and of many international competitions, he was already a leading figure in the musical world when he was appointed to succeed Olivier Messiaen as organist of La Trinité, Paris. His varied and exciting programme exploits the resources of the Dun Laoghaire instrument to the full, featuring some of his own compositions and an improvisation interpersed with music by Bach, Clérambault and Messiaen.
