Arts Management Intern

Arts Management Intern

Tuesday, 31 July 2018, 11.55pm

Islander is seeking candidates for an internship position starting on 13th August 2018.

This is a flexible part-time post (approximately 8 hours per week) with duties including artist management, event management, social media/marketing, accounting, artist liaison, festival management and general administration. There may be occasional evening hours in assisting with events and other performance aspects of what Islander does.

As this is an internship, for this position Islander can only offer a nominal fee ideally suitable for a student seeking to gain experience working in the music industry from a management/programming perspective. As is the case with management, payments are sporadic and work on a project/percentage basis.

The candidate will learn the details of artist management, helping with Islander’s current roster of artists, event management through the Islander Presents touring programme, Quiet Lights festival and other events in Ireland and abroad.

This can either be a remote position or else based in Dublin city centre. Islander will provide desk space if this is the case.
