RIAM Musicianship Clinic

RIAM Musicianship Clinic

Thursday, 30 August 2018, 11.30am

The RIAM is delighted to announce that another Musicianship Clinic will take place in 2018.

You can sign up for a specific week, a selection of weeks, or for all weeks as best suits your needs. Open to current and aspiring teachers and students. Classes will take place on Thursday mornings 11.30 am -1.00 pm at the RIAM between August 30th and November 22nd. Places are limited to 20 per session.

Gráinne Deery, an experienced RIAM Musicianship and Music Education lecturer, will lead this interactive clinic. She will provide an overview of the grades, explore the requirements and content, and provide strategies as appropriate. Using past papers from the Local Centre Theory & Harmony exams relevant to the session as a route into musicianship issues, any needs will be addressed as they arise. There is no coursework required and two past exam papers for the relevant grade will be supplied as part of each clinic.

A special offer on the RIAM Theory Workout books (3 books for the price of 2) from Preparatory to Grade 8 will also be available.

Dates: 30 August - 22 November
Cost: €35-€200
