London Conducting Workshop

Friday, 29 March 2019, 2.00pm

London Conducting Workshop is bringing its acclaimed workshops to Dublin! Taking place over five sessions from 29 - 31 March at Loreto College in St Stephen's, Dublin 2 this is your chance to brush up your conducting skills, correct mistakes and learn how to best convey your interpretation of the music to world class musicians. It's an ideal opportunity for conductors to fulfill continuing professional development requirements in a supportive and warm environment. Under the guidance of Dr John Farrer, outgoing President of the Conductors' Guild, you will study Brahms' Symphony No.4, Mozart's Symphony No.40 and Tchaikovsky's Serenade for strings, working with musicians from the RTENSO and Ulster orchestras. The first session will be diagnostic, with piano four hands, and we will continue the course with piano and string quartet.

The fee is £450 for the tuition, plus a £40 application fee, but we are reserving a small number of places for current students at the reduced rate of £400 on a first come first served basis. Apply now using the application form on our website or email [email protected] for more information.
