Kettle’s Yard seeks to appoint a New Music Curator to programme a series of concerts at Kettle’s Yard, University of Cambridge, to be planned in spring 2019 for performance in spring 2020.

Applications are sought from individuals or organisations that can deliver a sparkling and wide-ranging series that expresses the spirit of enquiry, the challenge of experiment and the outstanding quality that is at the heart of Kettle’s Yard’s artistic programme. Applications from composers and creative producers are welcomed. The successful applicant will build on the lively reputation for New Music at this unique venue to create a series of distinct and innovative concerts as a counterpart to our highly successful Chamber Music concerts. They should be interested in working with Kettle’s Yard art curators to develop links with Kettle’s Yard’s exhibition programme, and also to identify and develop educational and fundraising opportunities. The New Music Curator will be responsible for the contracting of the performers and the delivery of the concert; they will have the support of the Kettle’s Yard team in the staging and marketing of the event.  The New Music Curator answers to the Kettle’s Yard Music sub-committee, represented day-to-day by the Music Associate.
