Lecturer in Music – Vocal Repertoire and Coaching

Boston University College of Fine Arts School of Music seeks a vocal coach / instructor of diction and song repertoire to work with undergraduate and graduate voice majors. Terminal degree or demonstrated professional equivalent required; previous teaching at the college level required. This is a full-time non-tenure track position. 

The successful candidate will demonstrate depth of familiarity with the song repertoire and show evidence of detailed teaching of diction, especially in the German and Italian languages. Strong performance skills as a pianist are essential; superb organizational and verbal / written communication skills will be expected. Knowledge of operatic repertoire and ability to work with student collaborative pianists will serve the successful candidate well.
