We would like to present an exciting opportunity to join and contribute to a dynamic team at Access to Music Bristol. 

We are seeking to recruit a Centre Administrator, a key role within the centre, toprovide a range of administrative support for staff and learners engaged on Access to Music programmes.   The successful candidate will have a good knowledge of databases and spreadsheets etc; an NVQ Administration Qualification is desirable.

The post will include:

  • Telephonist/receptionist duties;
  • Administrative duties;
  • Supporting the running of the rehearsal and recording studios as a commercial business;
  • Organising the effective archiving of learners’ paperwork;
  • Collating and maintaining records of students/staff and guest speakers;
  • Maintaining data for our Human Resources Team and other departments within Head Office.
  • The successful candidate will have the ability to:

  • Develop, implement and maintain manual and computerised management information systems;
  • Work under pressure and to deadlines;
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of equal opportunities issues;
  • Effectively implement policies and procedures including those relating learners, and staff;
  • Communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally;
  • Read, understand, interpret and disseminate complex information.
  • Experience, Qualifications and Training

    Essential:

  • Numeracy and literacy qualifications at Level 2 (GCSE or equivalent);
  • Experience of the use of computerised systems, including MS Office applications;
  • Experience of collection, validation and management of data.
  • Desirable:

  • Experience in using Apple Mac operating system;
  • Experience of working in a customer service environment.
