Sponsorship Manager – Maternity Cover position

9-12 months fixed term contract

The Royal Albert Hall is one of the world’s most recognisable and best loved entertainment venues with an unrivalled history of world-class artists and performances. Each year it hosts more than 390 performances and events including the BBC Proms, other classical music, rock and pop concerts, opera, musicals, ballet, circus, occasional sport, award ceremonies, conferences and banquets.

The Sponsorship Manager is responsible for maintaining and account managing the Hall’s nineteen key sponsor partnerships and be their regular point of contact, along with building and establishing new sponsorship relationships. The role will be responsible for driving and creating new revenue streams through the establishment and sales of new events and corporate opportunities.

Managing two members of the team, the successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of leading, motivating and managing people. The ideal candidate will have significant experience of sponsorship management and delivering an excellent service to a wide range of key clients. With knowledge of corporate event management and a commercially minded approach, they will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to forge strong relationships with all key internal and external stakeholders in order to engage and influence all those they work with.

This is a full time position on a fixed term contract for a minimum of nine months although as a maternity cover there is a possibility of this role being extended to twelve months. The role will begin from early May 2015 allowing time for an effective handover.
