Esker Festival Orchestra, Dublin

The Esker Festival Orchestra, Ireland’s most exciting and established peer led orchestra, will return this August for its 5th annual residential and summer tour. This summer the orchestra will be resident in the wonderful surrounds of the National University of Ireland Galway and will see performances in Galway, Cork, & Dublin featuring music by Beethoven, Ravel, and young Irish composer, Sebastian Adams.

The orchestra will perform in St Ann’s Church, Dawson Street, Dublin 2 on Sunday, 12 August at 5pm.

This unique orchestra which is entirely led and run by its members will be joined by solo pianist Ellen Jansson and will be conducted and directed by Peter Joyce.
