Worry Dolls: Endless Roads Tour

Worry Dolls: Endless Roads Tour

Wednesday, 27 September 2017, 8.30pm

We are excited to welcome the Worry Dolls to The Crescent for a night of humorous and charming folk harmonies.

Worry Dolls are a folk duo that have been making waves in the London Indie-Folk scene, and across the UK from Glastonbury Festival to Derry, collecting praise and accolades as they go.

Many will have seen the Worry Dolls supporting Joan Armatrading on tour, or may have heard their songs played on Radio 2 and BBC6 Music.

Their bond was created through their fiery locks, but developed through creating music which is characterised by sublime harmonies, and tongue-in-cheek, honest lyrics.

“The brilliantly quirky duo Worry Dolls - a super-shiny beacon of joy in a dreamland far, far away from the persistently 'regular' sound of folk that's flooding the charts right now” The Huffington Post

“It’s no secret that we think Worry Dolls are pretty special” - For Folk’s Sake

“Two girls about to break your heart, sew it back together and leave you smiling for days.” Declan Bennett (Once the Musical/Eastenders)

“Humorous and charming folk-songwriting combined with sublime harmonies” Neil Cowley (Neil Cowley Trio, Adele)

FolkGeek.net - “What sets Worry Dolls apart is their sense of humour. See tongue in cheek single ‘Oliver’ about their infatuation with a West End drag queen as a prime example.”
