The Assistant Producer mainly provides support to the Producer, Residencies & Open Space but will also work within the wider Artist Development Team on Britten-Pears Young Artist Programme Courses, and will support the Opera Producer on operatic / music theatre Residencies.  

Key responsibilities: 

Coordinating Residencies at Snape Maltings, which will include, but is not limited to the following duties:  

  • Organising travel, accommodation, local transport and catering
  • Compiling artist information
  • Updating schedules & room bookings 
  • Liaising with artists in advance of their time at Snape Maltings
  • Looking after artists & reacting to their needs on a day-to-day basis during projects
  • Compiling feedback
  • Sourcing & marking music
  • Creating information packs for artists and the public
  • Processing invoices & keeping budgets updated
  • Digital capturing of (performance) activities
  • Pro-actively being involved in the programmes’ social media platforms
