The Music Department at Hunter College seeks a full-time professor at the rank of Assistant Professor and Director of Chamber Music.

Duties include:
– Performs teaching, research and guidance duties in area(s) of expertise.
– Shares responsibility for committee and department assignments including administrative, supervisory, and other functions.

This candidate will be responsible for creating a vigorous and lively chamber music program that will prepare students for a professional career in performance to life-long enjoyment. The candidate will also lead the department in the area of guitar/harp/percussion and be able to teach and recruit a full studio in one of those instruments.
