The Reid School of Music invites applications for a Teaching Fellow in Performance to provide teaching cover for a member of staff who has been awarded a Leverhulme Research Fellowship. The successful candidate will be a versatile performer and dynamic teacher, who will oversee and lead on the delivery of performance teaching at undergraduate level. The postholder will also take on performance-related administration, such as overseeing instrumental/vocal tuition and coordinating the University concert series in conjunction with the Concert Secretary. Applicants will have a significant professional profile in performance and must have experience of teaching music at university level. Knowledge of historical performance practices and musical styles beyond the classical Western tradition is desirable.
