Project Officer

 The church has an exciting opportunity as a result of Heritage Lottery  and other funding to undertake the restoration of the church organ and innovative developmental project aimed at encouraging local people of all ages to appreciate and enjoy choral music in the church and community. We are seeking to engage an imaginative self-motivated, enthusiastic and suitably experienced person for a period of 36 months on a freelance basis (or possibly via a secondment arrangement with a suitable organisation). This person will work closely with and in support of the Music Director who is also the church organist.

Project Officer

– The rate of pay is based on £120 per day pro rata for ½ day per week (c 4 hours for 40 weeks per year for 3 years.)
– The post will be based at the church 
– The person appointed will work flexibly according to work demand.This is the key as there may be some need for work in an evening and weekends.
– It is expected that the person appointed will be self employed and will bill the church on a regular basis for work done. The possibility of a secondment would be considered. The post requires enhanced DBS Check.
