Placements are available on BBC Proms 2018 television coverage and Proms Extra, the accompanying weekly magazine programme.

Proms is produced by BBC Music Television which is also responsible for Glastonbury, Later with Jools Holland and other classical and rock/pop performance as well as a significant body of documentary output.

The successful candidates will gain an insight into producing a large-scale music event for TV. They will also have hands-on experience of location filming and the TV outside broadcast. The BBC is looking for candidates who are highly motivated, enthusiastic team-players, with a demonstrable interest in television production and/or classical music
