Arts at the University of Southampton is seeking an exceptional individual to join the team as a Coordinator (Arts and Culture). Working with the Associate Director (Arts and Culture), this outward facing role is critical in supporting the development and implementation of the University’s new Arts Strategy.

The Coordinator (Arts and Culture) is a key member of the University’s Arts Team, which includes John Hansard Gallery and Turner Sims, and supports engagement with the University’s Arts Strategy Group, faculties, arts venues, Student Union, external stakeholders and collaborators to coordinate and deliver a wide variety of activity for and with students, staff and the wider community.

This includes coordinating internal and external communications campaigns, supervising students on the Excel Arts Ambassador internship programme to realise their full potential and working with internal and external partners in realising the implementation and development of the University’s Arts and Culture Strategy.
