Up Close with Music

Sunday, 5 October 2014, 12.00pm

The renowned Irish ensemble Concorde will perform five new pieces, commissioned and premiered earlier this year in the series Up Close with Music, on October 5 in the Hugh Lane Gallery’s Sundays@Noon concert series.  Five very different and personal musical expressions from composers Enda Bates, Ailís Ní Ríain, Ryan Molloy, Jane O’Leary and Rhona Clarke have already had a warm response from the public in a series of performances at the RHA Gallery.  Audiences now have a chance to hear all the commissioned pieces together and to meet the composers, all of whom will be present at the Hugh Lane Gallery on Sunday October 5.   http://www.hughlane.ie/
