Described by RTÉ Lyric FM as an 'exceptional talent' and Hot Press as 'passionate and alluring', Clare Sands is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and songwriter hailing from the vibrant musical city of Cork.

Gracing a fender strat guitar in one hand and electric violin in the other, Sands (a Boss/Roland and Yamaha endorsed artist) has a unique ability to blend Jazz/Funk/Latin music with a Celtic twist, backed by an eclectic six piece band. She recently released her new single ‘Dance X3!’, featuring the legendary guitarist and producer Jimmy Smyth (Van Morrison, Mary Coughlan, Bogey Boys).

Having just played her biggest show to date, Liverpool's Feis, alongside Irish legends Imelda May and Shane McGowan to 15,000 people, Sands is set to play a hometown show at An Spailpín Fánach, Cork, Thursday 22nd November, with support from SON (Susan O'Neill).
