Join us in An Grianán, Termonfechin, Co. Louth from Mon 1st July to Fri 5th July 2013 for an exciting programme of workshops and concerts featuring visiting and resident artists.

Sunday 30th June 8pm: Oscailt na Féile: Dedicated to the memory of Gráinne Yeats and celebrating Ireland’s European Presidency Venue: Droichead Arts Centre, Drogheda Featuring harpers Savourna Stevenson, Áine Ní Dhubhghaill, Gwenan Gibbard and Helen Davies with Noel Eccles (percussion)

’A Tribute to Derek Bell’
8pm: Gala Concert featuring Tríona Marshall (harp) with members of the Chieftains Paddy Moloney, Kevin Conneff and Seán Keane Venue: An Grianán, Termonfechin, Co. Louth

Workshop Programme
Sunday 30th June 2pm - 5pm: Open Day – Try the harp Members of the public are welcome to experience the harp with festival teachers. Visit the harp exhibition and harp session
Monday 1st July 11:30am: A window on the world of the composer/harpist with Savourna Stevenson 4pm: Trad Welsh style with Gwenan Gibbard
Tuesday 2nd July 2:15pm: Arranging and Ornamentation with Gráinne Hambly 4pm: Classical Levers with Helen Davies
Wednesday 3rd July 2:15pm: Affiniti: Harp, violin and voice with a modern twist 4pm: The life and legacy of Turlough Carolan with Caitríona Rowsome
Thursday 4th July 2:15pm: Focus on Youth with Seána Davey 4pm: Tionól na gCruitirí: Harpers gather to play class arrangements
Friday 5th July 11am: Farewell Gathering: Harpers perform class arrangements. 12pm: Festival Ends.

An Grianán in the village of Termonfechin, Co. Louth is easily accessible as it is just 50km from Dublin and is near the main Northern highway. There is a regular train and bus service between Dublin and Drogheda, the nearest town. A bus and taxi service is available between Drogheda and the festival venue, where comfortable accommodation is provided, along with excellent food and all the facilities needed to ensure a thoroughly enjoyable week.
