The Music Content Curation team is responsible for maintaining the very best user experience possible around content. The team is responsible for filtering out the content Apple users don’t want, organizing the content they do want so it’s easy to find, and fixing, or sending back to Apple partners to fix when appropriate, anything that doesn’t match our style guide, resulting in immaculate media and metadata. The team is data driven and automation minded.

Key Qualifications
▪ At least 5 years experience working with media content, content management and ingestion.
▪ Significant experience as a manager in these areas required.
▪ Passion for and knowledge of music.
▪ Detail Oriented.
▪ Comfortable presenting ideas to large groups and using influencing skills to build consensus.

Description
This is an exciting opportunity to manage a team of content curators driving content quality and operational excellence across various regions through the iTunes Music Store, iTunes Radio, and Beats Music.  

• Work collaboratively with members of the artist and label relations teams around the world, solving problems and demonstrating cross-functional influence and leadership.
Analyze content problems with the ability to quickly assess complex situations.
• Oversee implementation of processes and tools to facilitate and improve content management work flow, working closely with engineering, design, and project managers.
• Lead a team of Curators to build a high performing organization focused on quality, automation, and focusing on the content that matters.

Education
Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
