Interested applicants must apply by sending a curriculum vitae (CV) providing details of professional orchestral experience via email to employment[at]aso.com. 

The audition process will be undertaken according to the “ASO Audition Protocol” which is available on the ASO website. As part of this process, applicants may attend the live auditions or submit a video recording in advance. 

Auditions: Tuesday 28 November 2017. Required works:

  • Gordon Jacob: Concerto for Trombone - 1st movt, and cadenza only from 3rd movt
  • Leopold Mozart: Concerto for Trombone – Adagio (slow mvt) to be played on Alto trombone
  • Plus orchestral/solo excerpts that will be available from Friday 10 November 2017
