Artist Residency Programme

Centre Culturel Irlandais’ annual residency programme offers great opportunities for artists of all disciplines to tap into the resources of the CCI and the city of Paris, as well as being an important means of showcasing Ireland’s dynamic contemporary culture on an international stage. 

Artist Residencies
Residencies of up to 3 months between August 2018 and June 2019, open to practitioners in all art forms with a record of professional achievement. Travel from Ireland, accommodation and a monthly stipend included.

Romilly Walton Masters Performance Award
Open to performance practitioners,this award will support a one or two-night performance in CCI by an emerging performer or group working in the areas of experimental theatre, music, dance, film or visual art.


  • Applicants must be Irish citizens or normally resident on the island of Ireland, with professional involvement in creative practice. 
  • Residencies of 1 to 3 months will be awarded for the period August 2018 - June 2019. 
  • Travel from Ireland, accommodation and a monthly stipend are included. 

CCI have partnerships with Irish cultural organisations to support the 2018-2019 residency programme: 

Music Network
Contemporary Music Centre
Design and Craft Council of Ireland
Visual Artists Ireland
Literature Ireland
Fermanagh & Omagh District Council 
Meath Arts Office
Ealaín na Gaeltachta

CCI and these partner organisations will share the costs of residencies enabling the Centre to increase the number of residencies it can offer.
