The Conservatory of Music at the State University of New York at Purchase invites applications to a full-time, tenure-track appointment (beginning August, 2019) as an assistant professor in Jazz Studies. The successful applicant may be called upon to conduct large and small ensembles, teach Beginning and Advanced Composition, Arranging, Music Theory, Jazz Harmony, Keyboard Studies, small Combo classes, private study lessons on their instrument/voice, and other courses, as our curriculum may require. 

Also required: recruitment activities as assigned by the Conservatory of Music or the Head of Jazz Studies; advising of students, as assigned by the Head of Jazz Studies; service on college committees, as assigned by the Conservatory of Music.
