The RCM is looking to appoint a Chamber Music Manager to join its busy Performance and Programming department. Performance and Programming is responsible for planning and organising all concerts at the RCM, from chamber recitals through to full Symphony Orchestra concerts. The successful applicant will be joining a creative team in an exciting working environment, and will work closely with students and professors. Chamber Music is an integral part of College life and students perform at the College and at other renowned venues including the Royal Festival Hall, Wigmore Hall and Cadogan Hall.

This post involves working closely with the Artistic Director and Performance, Programming and Faculty Manager to manage and develop the RCM’s Chamber Music programme. Duties will include programming and running chamber concerts and festivals, line management of the P&P Chamber Assistant and overseeing the formation and coaching of student groups. The successful candidate will have previous experience in working in a classical music environment and an excellent knowledge of chamber music. The role requires an ability to work proactively, flexibly and creatively on a variety of different tasks and we are looking for someone with a high level of interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
