Salary: starting at £55,430 per annum including inner London weighting

Barbican Centre are looking for an outstanding Head of Communications, to lead the Communications team through a period of Maternity Leave. They are looking for someone who can build the profile and enhance the image of the Barbican, and who is confident working with senior stakeholders including the City of London and Arts Council England. You should be experienced liaising with our strategic and artistic partners and manage the ongoing development of the Communications team as a whole.

You should be self-motivated, with extensive experience in a senior Communications role. This would be an excellent opportunity for someone in a Senior Manager position looking to take the next step in their career, or someone looking to expand their experience in the arts sector. Experience in handling complex reputational and crisis management situations is crucial, along with demonstrable experience of implementing cross-organisational, and inter-departmental change.
