Lecturer in Music Industry

University of Liverpool is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Music Industry. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching in the music industry strand of undergraduate programming, the MA Business of Classical Music (BoCM), a new programme developed with and delivered in partnership with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic (RLP), and the MA Music Industry Studies. They will supervise dissertations at undergraduate and postgraduate level, including potentially those of PhD students. They will also liaise with the RLP to facilitate and assess student work placements. They should have a PhD (or be about to obtain) in a relevant area, with experience both of working in the creative industries, as well as of teaching in Higher Education.
