The International Centre for Music Studies (ICMuS) at Newcastle University wishes to appoint a 0.6 FTE Lecturer in Music Technology on a permanent contract. This is an open, international search, and they are interested in appointing someone who will flourish in our highly plural research culture and who might have interests in any of the following areas: sound technology and/or multimedia production; music production and post-production processing; music broadcasting; multimodal perception and technology, or; music information retrieval in an increasingly global and digitally connected world. ICMuS is seeking to appoint an established individual who has a strong track record of research and who may be capable of working across musical and media domains. 

The successful candidate will have a good first degree in Music or related discipline. The successful candidate will be able to show excellence as both a teacher and researcher, with a portfolio of first rate outputs (in any format).
