The intern will gain practical experience in the design and delivery of music programmes based on the Balor DCA s Music in Action project. The intern will receive formal/informal training in the following gaining skills for employment, time management and interview skills. As a recognised training centre the Balor DCA is now in the fortunate position to offer training in-house and outreach, as such we encourage all employees to extend their own training from our suite of courses.We will also provide informal training in office procedures and project management. On completion the intern will have attained skills in desktop research, basic Microsoft excel and budget planning and delivery.

The intern would need to have a keen interest in music. He/she needs to have the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team. The intern would need to have excellent communication skills. He/She will be expected to have an aptitude for analytical thought.

This is an Internship. An allowance of €50 per week will be paid in addition to your current Social Welfare payment.
