Ardú & Solala @ Cork International Choral Festival

Solala is a Swedish a cappella group from Gothenburg. The group started in 2012, rapidly gaining attention through their videos on Youtube. The most popular of these videos feature the trio singing their own arrangements of popular songs while accompanying themselves on various kitchen items. With over 15 000 subscribers and 2 million views on Youtube, the vocal power trio have released their debut album, Swedish Fishermen, in 2015, followed by Feber in 2017. Ardú is Ireland’s premier a cappella vocal ensemble. This six-voice group is internationally recognised, having represented Ireland on the Sky 1 show ‘Sing: Ultimate A Cappella’, building their standing as Ireland’s ambassadors of contemporary a cappella. 2018 will see Ardú perform a programme of newly arranged contemporary music at festivals across Ireland, as well as further international performances throughout the year.
