Scottish Opera presents: The Magic Flute (Dementia Friendly Performance)

Thursday, 16 May 2019, 3.00pm

Dementia Friendly performances at Scottish Opera are specially-created for those living with dementia. Performances are fully-staged, and performed by a narrator, The Orchestra of Scottish Opera, and a wonderful cast of singers. Audiences are lead through the story, and hear some of the best-loved music from the opera. Lighting levels in the auditorium are brighter, and people are able to come in and out of the auditorium during the performance and see the show in the bar on TV screens.

This Summer, we’ll be presenting Dementia Friendly performances of Mozart’s The Magic Flute at Theatre Royal Glasgow, Thu 16 May; and Festival Theatre Edinburgh, Fri 7 Jun.
