Senior Lecturer in Music Promotion and Management

A Senior Lecturer is needed to deliver units on the BA (Hons) Music Management and BA (Hons) Music Promotion degrees.  

Candidates will need to have a good knowledge of academic and business approaches to studying music management, and the contemporary music media industries.  The successful candidate will be expected to teach on units that cover music industry entrepreneurship, finance, and branding and artist development.  He or she will possess up-to-date knowledge of both the recorded and live music industries.

Candidates will need to have teaching experience in a higher education environment.  They will also need to have a degree in a relevant subject and/or significant industry experience.  Ideally, he or she will also have a Masters degree.  A completed or near-completed PhD is desirable as a willingness to undertake research.

The successful candidate will be someone who is passionate, well organised, and possesses competent administrative skills.

Some unsocial hours and UK/international travel may be required.
