YOUNG PHANTOM
Mark Mavambu, one part of nascent Cork/Tralee hip-hop collective ApocalypsE, has struck out solo with a sweet new EP, available now over Bandcamp, YouTube, etc. His debut solo record comes fresh off his day job’s victorious rampage through the Irish gig & festival circuit, including appearances at Body & Soul.

CLEARFELL
Five-piece Clearfell have a weight to their work that few acts of their ilk possess, wielding a sharp QOTSA/Kyuss/Desert Sessions edge that underpins their strong traditional blues chops. Hefty and muscular, yet tipping the nod to their range of influences.

PRIAPIC PRIMATES
Cork indie youngfellas Priapic Primates are a largely unknown quantity, but weld together indie, alt-rock and pop influences with a certain energy and bombast that can only come from youth. Well worth tipping in a little early to witness.
