This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing Department of Computing and Technology. You’ll be an active practitioner who can contribute to the Department’s mission to deliver world-class teaching and scholarship in audio and music technology related topics. You’ll be responsible for delivering an up-to-date curriculum and will be expected to contribute towards the expansion of our portfolio. You may also be required to develop collaboration and consultancy work with industry. 

With a degree or relevant professional qualification in a field relevant to Sound Engineering, you’ll have significant experience in Audio Engineering and Music Technology with respect to teaching, professional practice and scholarship, with specific expertise in: multitrack audio recording, mixing and production; digital audio workstations; audio processing and analysis software; live sound engineering; recording studio practice and management; music industry practices. (For Senior Lecturer Practitioner grade 6: Extensive Post Qualification CPD and/or Higher degree). You’ll have deep knowledge of audio principles, processing, subjective/objective analysis techniques and established, professional sound engineering technologies (hardware and software).
