Communications Assistant (Music)
The Barbican Centre is seeking a part time Communications Assistant to provide administrative assistance to the Senior Communications Manager for Music.
You will have proven experience of working in a busy office, preferably within an arts environment. You will have excellent copy writing and verbal communication skills as well as good computer and database skills.
You will deal with general press enquiries, image, ticket, photography and other requests, maintaining office systems and keeping documents updated. You will also be liaising with agents, managers and external PR agencies, and assisting with financial administration. It is essential that you have excellent planning and organisational skills, including the ability to manage time and urgent tasks in a structured way.
