The Department of Music seeks an ambitious, versatile and enthusiastic Choral Director.

This is a permanent post. The Choral Director will be responsible for conducting the established University Chamber Choir (admission by audition) and Staff Choir, including arranging performances on and off campus. You will also be required to develop other participatory singing and music-making activities at the University, and liaise with and support student-led music groups, including those affiliated to the Liverpool University Music Society and Liverpool University Student Theatre.

Due to the nature of the work, working hours are flexible and negotiated with the Head of Music to equate to 0.5 FTE per week over the academic year.

You should have a degree in a relevant subject (or equivalent qualification or relevant professional experience).
