The Pan Celtic National Song Contest 2017
The Pan Celtic National Song Contest is a competition to find a newly composed song in the Irish language to represent Ireland at the Pan Celtic International Song Contest 2017. Shortlisted finalists will perform their songs live on-stage in the grand finalé in the Seven Oaks Hotel in Carlow on February 25th under the guidance of musical director Ollie Hennessey. Songs from all music genre’s are welcomed from traditional, rock, pop and everything in between. The live final is a spectacular entertainment event with a top cash prize for the winning composer of €1,000 in addition to the Pan Celtic Song Contest National Trophy and the opportunity to represent Ireland at The Pan Celtic International Song Contest 2017.
