Organ refurbishment Fund-raiser

Fund-raising concert in aid of the 153yr old Hill organ in St John's Cathedral Limerick featuring Seoda Ladies' Choir, Cantette Children's Choir, Limerick Chamber Choir and Limerick Youth Choir, all directed by Maire Keary-Scanlan and accompanied by Eoin Scanlan on piano, Diane Daly on violin and Emma Downes on violin. Diane will also give a solo recital on a violin donated to the fund by a benefactor who wishes to remain anonymous and the violin will be for sale after the concert. Included in her recital will be a selection of Fritz Kreisler pieces. St John's Cathedral Choir directed by Bernadette Kiely will also perform. The concert will be opened and closed by the organist of Galway Cathedral Raymond O'Donnell playing Franck and Durufle. Admission €10/8 at the door - please support - beautiful music in beautiful surroundings is guaranteed.
