The Guildhall School is seeking to appoint a Deputy Head of Vocal Studies. In this new role in an outward-facing,internationally-renowned Department, the post holder will assist the Head of Vocal Studies, providing artistic and pastoral support to students, engaging in recruitment activity and promotion of the Department nationally and internationally, and contributing to wider strategic development. The role will include teaching, as appropriate to the post holder’s specialism.

The role holder will be an accomplished singer and educator with active performance experience, able to analyse andarticulate students’ vocal/technical needs appropriately to the Head of Vocal Studies, colleagues and students. With the ability and international reach toattract diverse and exceptional student singers to the Guildhall School, the role holder will have the capacity to inspire, encourage and motivate studentsand staff.
