Web Summit is a global technology conference company based in Dublin, Ireland. It runs a series of international gatherings across the world. Its flagship event is Web Summit, held in Lisbon. In less than 6 years Web Summit has grown from a small team to a company of over 130 focused on disrupting the conference industry through technology and data science. In 2016 nearly 100,000 startups, investors, speakers and other attendees gathered at Web Summit events, including Collision in the US and RISE in Hong Kong.

About the Summer Internship Programme
For this 3 month programme you’ll be kept busy with exciting work and have the opportunity to experience several different areas of the business. Web Summit is  looking for analytical and entrepreneurial students, who live for a challenge, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want to have fun.

What You’ll Achieve:
• You’ll learn by working with a team in one of the fastest growing companies in Ireland.
• You’ll learn from the best in the industry - be it product management, growth, operations or acquisition.
• You’ll experience different aspects of the business by working & collaborating with many teams.
• You’ll take every chance to show initiative and be driven by top performance and results.

Who You Are:
• You’re entering second, third or final year of your degree in any field of study. 
• You must be available from June through the full summer of 2017. 
• You have been socially active during your years at college, maybe took part in societies or interned and volunteered.
• You would thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing startup environment and want to try it out.
• You’re interested in technology trends - not just social media.
• You have strong interpersonal skills and learn quickly.
