Museum Intern

Monday, 8 July 2019, 10.00am

Built to house its famous collections of instruments, objects and archives, the Royal Academy of Music Museum hosts fixed and temporary exhibitions, displays and events that offer students, staff and the public physical and virtual access to its collections.

The Royal Academy of Music Museum has a vacancy for a 7-week internship to assist with collections management, learning activities and front of house visitor interaction. Full training will be provided but some experience of collections databases and documentation would be an advantage, as would a previous customer-facing role. There will be an element of welcoming visitors and helping to deliver front of house operations and summer family workshops.

This is a professional development opportunity and is paid at £10.55 per hour.
