The Royal College of Music London Museum team is now seeking to appoint a reliable and focused Museum Administrator to provide project support during the Museum’s transformational redevelopment. The post holder will be responsible for responding to general enquiries relating to material in the collections, and supporting project management of all activities relating to the Heritage Lottery Fund project.

The postholder will support the Curator of Musical Instruments in administering the finances and maintaining budget records; recruitment and coordination of the Museum volunteers; maintain records relating to Museum storage access; and to promote use of the collections through contributing to website development and user education programmes.

The successful candidate will be a strong administrator with effective organisational and prioritisation skills and high level of IT skills. Previous experience gained in museum or arts administration would be advantageous, as well as an understanding of project management methodologies.
