The Grand Opera House Trust is undertaking a significant restoration and development project over the next three years which will focus on the restoration and development of the Theatre in advance of its 125th anniversary in December 2020. As part of this project, a permanent exhibition will be installed, telling the rich history and heritage of the Theatre. The Heritage and History Researcher will be responsible for researching the history of the Grand Opera House and its social, economic and artistic contribution to the life of the city of Belfast, Northern Ireland and beyond, to help inform this exhibition.
