The Sussex Academy of Music Ltd (SAM) is an exciting music education based business located in Shoreham-by-Sea, West Sussex. The company specialises in delivering one-to-one instrument and voice tuition for children and adults into schools across Sussex and from its headquarters in Shoreham. 

The position available is for a Communications Assistant, which will involve supporting the Business Relationship Manager in running ‘day-to-day’ administration duties associated with delivering lessons from the company’s premises in Shoreham.

Duties will include managing SAM’s tutors on a day-to-basis, for example, arranging cover when tutors are sick or on holiday; booking and accounting for lessons, liaising between SAM’s teaching staff, parents and schools both over the phone, by email and face-to-face.

The role will also involve manning the front desk 3 days a week on a fortnightly rotor. For this reason working hours on normal days will be 9am-5pm and 12-8pm when on reception, 5 days a week in total, including Saturdays every other week.
