RCS is seeking to recruit a dynamic musician and pedagogue to be the Head of their Junior Conservatoire (Music). You will provide academic leadership for the Junior and pre-HE Music students and staff and lead the enhancement of pedagogy within the Junior provision, providing an academic bridge between the Junior Conservatoire and programmes and staff in the School of Music.

This is a key role within the RCS, leading a strategically important department with associated managerial and budgetary responsibilities. Reporting to the Director of Music, you will work closely with a wide variety of Conservatoire staff and external partners and stakeholders to ensure that provision is aligned with institutional, local, national and international priorities and needs.
