The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland is seeking an inspirational Head of Musical Theatre who will lead the undergraduate and postgraduate taught programmes.

You will have a degree level qualification in an appropriate and relevant subject, preferably at postgraduate level. You will have international/national recognition as a musical theatre practitioner at the highest level and knowledge of the cultural landscape and demonstrate your passion and motivation.. In addition to this, you will have teaching experience in an Higher Education or Conservatoire setting with established connections within the Musical Theatre and Performing Arts Sector within the UK and internationally. Further to this, you will have demonstrable knowledge of contemporary professional practice in performance and contemporary teaching methods. As well as having experience as a working practitioner within the performing arts you will have broad knowledge of professional performance and extensive knowledge of the specialist subject area.
